Xiaomi wants to make voice control system Alexa compatible with Yeelight light

Recently it was announced that one of Xiaomi partners, Yeelight, would work side by side with Amazon, to make their voice control system Alexa compatible with Yeelight light bulbs and light strips.

Alexa voice control allow users by simply speaking to an Alexa-enabled device. Voice controls is more convenient than using an application installed on the smartphone and start earning increasingly more often users. For example, starting in Q2 2017, customers in the United States will be able to control any of iRobot’s WiFi-enabled robot vacuums using Amazon Alexa voice control.

Also, this partnership will allow the promotion Xiaomi among those who trust Alexa voice control. The benefits are on both sides. Amazon is looking for reliable partners. Xiaomi is looking for reliable partners. The future belongs to those who fail to sign partnerships reliable.

Yeelight

The Alexa Voice Service (AVS) allows you to integrate Alexa’s built-in voice capabilities into your connected products. With AVS, your users will have the ability to play music, request the weather forecast and local news, get updates on traffic conditions, ask general knowledge questions, set timers and alarms, query Wikipedia and much more, the same way they would with an Amazon Echo. You also have access to third-party skills developed using the Alexa Skills Kit (ASK).
