Xiaomi seeking a valuation of at least $50 billion in IPO

I have been following the online discussions for a few days about Xiaomi’s intention to get it a valuation of at least $50 billion in IPO.

IPO

Each publisher has a personal way to approach a news story. For example, some smart publishers prefer to write about product launches only, others make comparisons between similar products. The quality of an editor is seen in the ability to position information in a context. To observe the past and to anticipate the future.

When I first read this information on bloomberg.com I thought about the offer Xiaomi can make to banks. I remembered what I wrote about Xiaomi’s tendency to offer banking services and I thought about the future. Let’s think about the future. If the next year a bank offers Xiaomi the desired amount of money that bank you think will be the favorite for Xioami affiliate banking services?

MiJia Smart Home. One example. In the near future smart objects in the house or office will be able to buy other products alone. With one condition. Someone to mediate payments. Who? A banks. Today banks come up with various offers to convince us to move their wages to them. Tomorrow they will fight each other to convince us to give them the opportunity of intelligent objects to use a bank account registered with them. It’s not that hard to look at in the future.

For this reason, the current negotiations between Xiaomi and local banks are more delicate than some editors believe. The financial system is extremely complex. People want to hear stories. Bankers want to see charts. More graphics. They evaluate the risk. The higher the risk, the more success may be. I’m sure Xiaomi will get the money you want. What do I rely on? I rely on the cautious way of gaining market position. Do not test. They do not test. They study, analyze and make decisions with a certain degree of risk. And I rely on something. I’ll tell you at the right time.

I hope that Xiaomi will be able to convince the potential financial partner that their money is safe and that it will be able to provide smart banking with maximum security. I mention this detail because here is a big problem. And Xiaomi takes a risk. Associating with a bank with transaction security issues will definitely have disastrous consequences. Both parties have to provide high performance services.
