Xiaomi Launched Xiaomi Redmi 3S With Qualcomm’s New Snapdragon 430 CPU

Xiaomi launched Xiaomi Redmi 3s. It is the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 430 chipset. This octa-core chip should provide a significantly performance improvement.

Xiaomi keeps the metal’s casing and design of the previous Redmi3 with the same size and weight.

Xiaomi Redmi 3s flaunts a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for selfies. It also includes 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options, with a 4,100mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.

The device will feature a 5 inch HD display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 430 chipset with up to 3GB of RAM. The Snapdragon 430 uses four 1.2GHz Cortex A53 cores and four 1.5GHz Cortex A53 cores paired with an Adreno 505 GPU.

The Redmi 3s comes in two memory configurations: 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage at along with the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage.
The device supports a hybrid dual-SIM slot with micro+nano SIM support. However, the second SIM card slot doubles as a microSD card slot so you won’t be able to use two SIM cards and a microSD card simultaneously.
