Jan 9, 2017

The first surprise Xiaomi launched at CES 2017 it is Mi Bunny – a smart voice-based assistant targeted at kids.

The main producers invited at CES 2017 they launched new products based on voice control. One is Xiaomi. That I confirm that their staff follow with maximum attention to real trend of technology users. Instead, unlike other manufacturers that have launched products targeting young people or adults, Xiaomi has launched a product aimed at children. A product that is even Xiaomi mascot. It means that Xiaomi went ahead and took a step long term. A mascot own associated with a top product. And he approached the next generation of fans. The new assistant AI has some LEDs that light up under your ears when you use it.

Beyond its functions this product should be viewed as a means of marketing. This explains its affordable price.

Xiaomi Mi Bunny can read more than 1,000 books out loud. It can access Xiaomi’s own voice assistant and is able to send and receive texts on WeChat (extremely popular messaging app in China), apart from reading children books out loud.

Xiaomi Mi Bunny

I expect the future to be released and an office assistant. An assistant to arrange our messages and alerts. I would even prefer to communicate with her assistants. For example, now I need an assistant to warn me when my baby woke up. No time to watch the monitor.

The device is currently only available in China, and there’s no word on its availability in international markets. The Xiaomi Mi Bunny it is affordable. Is priced at $29 (roughly Rs. 2,000).
