Today Xiaomi launched three products: two smartphones, Mi Mix 2 and Mi Note 3, and a laptop — Mi Notebook Pro.
Mi Notebook Pro has three configurations. The first two models have the latest Intel i7 processor coupled with NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU, 8GB or 16GB of RAM. The third model has Intel i5 processor coupled with the same GPU and 8GB. All three versions will have 256GB of storage space.
One of the main novelties of this notebook is a fingerprint sensor. I read the past days on a group of young people that fingerprint sensors have become so popular that we get to wear gloves. We’ll have to take lessons to protect our fingerprints. For now we smile.
The backlit key and the magnesium alloy from which the carcase is made are other reasons why this Notebook is appreciated by those who travel. Those who prefer to stay on the internet when their neighbors are sleeping understand what they mean.
The standard version of Mi MIX 2 has 6GB of RAM and three ROM options: 64GB, 128GB or 256GB. A limited edition will sport 256GB of ROM and 8GB of RAM. Power is provided with help 2.45GHz Snapdragon 835 and with Adreno 540 GPU. The smartphone has the following sensors: fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, compass, ambient light sensor, hall sensor.
One of its highlights is face recognition via biometric authentication. We will discuss this topic again. There are still various ways of securing gadgets. We’ll see what method will resist over time.
The octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor and with 6GB of RAM make this smartphone one with a high potential.
Three products launched in one day. I believe it or rushed. They could launch them separately by presenting more details about the technical features. Let us remember that those of the new generations are very attentive to the details. I have just presented a few. They will surely seek information about battery, camcorders, sensors, muffs, MIUI version. They want to know what order even if they do not use all the facilities. I asked a mom on an online group why they are so demanding and a young man answered me quickly – so I can sell him quickly later. It’s financial education.
